November 2009 – Oak Island – Job Beason Park Marina

This was supposed to be a cruise to Smith Point but due to low water no one could get up close enough to the bulkhead to tie up! We decided to head over to Oak Island to the new Job Beason Park Marina.Another fun cruise in spite of adversity!

November 2009 – French Picnic at Double Bayou

Every year TMCA (Texas Mariners Cruising Association) heads over to Double Bayou for our annual French Picnic. All boats nose into the bank and set anchor in the field. Participants bring a dish to share and as night falls the big bonfire blazes.

        After many adjustments the dingy and the davit finally came together.
 

The Outboard had to be raised to clear the bottom (port side) pontoon.
Now to have the cover modified and wait for the conversion to electric and then we are done.
